Extrema Ratio - The Fulcrum Folder

“Two is one: one is none.”  That’s a common statement heard by anyone who is training for, or in the process of planning, a risky operation.  If your mission depends on a strong knife, you’d better have two.  The Fulcrum Folder was specifically designed to meet the same demands as its “big brother” the Fulcrum.  If you wear a knife on your vest or belt, consider where you can place the Fulcrum Folder so it will be easily accessible by your other hand.  In all combat situations – and in most emergency situations – it’s advisable to have a knife available to either hand.  The Fulcrum Folder is the perfect “backup” blade for that offside carry.

The blade
The blade is made with N690 Cobalt Stainless Steel which is a high performance steel with excellent cutting and sharpening characteristics. The blade is a flat grind and has 58HRC hardness.

The handles
The handle is made of black anodized Anticorodal, a type of aluminum that is very strong and resistant to corrosion. The end of the handle, made of hardened N690, is an effective glass breaker or self defense striking surface.
